Today is such a grey, cold day, I'm following several other members, and creating a little sunshine. This is my favorite flower, it blooms in my yard in High Summer. This was started with wc, and finished with air brush. One layer, from scratch (Surprise).

The simpleness and beauty of just this one flower brings such beauty to the viewer. Wonderfully done, Skylar and thanks for bringing some sunshine to my day!

Same here LSB, your work is fantastic and I look at every single thing you paint (usually with my jaw dropping a bit) but I don't always comment. You are a speedy painter which makes your art even more impressive! This is another fantastic piece! Love the recent videos you made as well. Fantastic art!:D:D

I will confess something here - I always hold my breath when I post, hoping that some will take time to look, and hoping for comments. I'm just a big kid, still wanting approval from my peers! AND - I can also take crits! This site is so accepting, that I think sometimes things aren't said just to keep civility - So if at any time you want to question a choice I've made in a piece -Please Do!
Jim - You give such accolades, it surprises me.
Sketch - For you to say that is amazing to me, considering your talents.
At-Ta - Yes, Hibiscus come in many colors, even white.
Byron - Thanks so much. The videos are on YouTube -LSkylarBrown - YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exI75a-kP1Q

Thank you Skylar-I am happy that you liked them. I am warm and cozy in my cedar house, and we are waiting for the two inches of snow that may come to my area-haha. Hope you are warm and cozy too.:)

Lima - Why do you call me Brown? I will call you Oriane, if you will call me Skylar - OK. Calling someone by their Last name is considered Quasi-Formal, unfriendly where I come From.
