Precious. Just precious beyond words. . . but not beyond your ability to make pictures. Great images. Straight to the essence of youthful beauty and innocence. What a great time of life if you have people who can see you thus and mirror it back to you. Even if these are models, you clearly are capable of that loving energy where you choose to place it. It shows in your art. :):):):):)

Thanks everyone! I guess I should add that these are my kiddos! I love my children, even when thoroughly exasperated, confused, or exhausted by them....I find that when I work with photos I've taken of them, especially with projects like this, I enter an almost meditative state....and usually feel much better about this parenting project when I come out of it.
I honestly think that in making paintings such as these, I'm able to vent emotions that I really don't know how to express in any other way. Taking photos help, but so often with a photo the outcome is rather emotionally sterile.
