Love it. It has that kind of classic turn of the century dog or horse pose and look to it. I hope that makes sense. :o

wonderful painting technique... are his neck and chest really that broad?
love your painting style. Beautiful job on color also. You must have been doing animal portraits for awhile I would think based on this piece. It's really great.

thanks for peeking in and commenting Evart, Valarie, alinevada, gzairborne and coops :) much appreciated

gzairborne I thought his neck and chest looked to heavy but as I have never seen an Italian greyhound other than in a photo in fact never seen any kind in real life I really can't say :D . and I have done a few animals, if you care to see them you will find them here on my pbase site ;)

Stunning dog painting. He is so beautiful and as Alinevada has mentioned, the pose and your way of painted him, look very classic. :)

Makes sense to me. I'd just add that it also has a regal look to it. :)

Thank you Annie, Byron, pai and Robert for commenting. I'm still plugging away trying to learn AR I had AR2 and never used it then Annie and Skylar talked so much about the new AR3 I just had to see what it was all about and got the AR3pro and now I'm having fun :) altho I wish I could paint like Annie with her beautiful strokes but I just don't seem to be able to paint that way :o
