View Full Version : Tattoo for my gal

My friend asked me to design a tattoo for her. We had a brainstorm and thought that a modern pin uppy comic rock-chick would be cool. So here's a quick one layer ar2.5 doodle of something I'm suggesting. The lines aren't perfect but I think you can see what I'm targeting to.

That's too cool!

erm..mayhaps the tattoo artist might have a hard time doing the halftone? might be a good idea to convert it to lines or color..
(if it's actually going on skin that is)

This will be a really neat tattoo, DarkLotus! What will be the actual size of this tattoo? I've seen tattoos being done on TV and some of those people that are getting them done are just squirming on the table. I love tattoo art but I have no inclination on having one - I'll just admire others!!! Great job!

This is very cool tattoo than the traditional pattern. Very nice drawing. :)

Yeah I know that the halftone might be tricky, but definetly doable. Actually they are just some parts that need shadowing, not ment to drive the tattooist bonkers nor have to be halftone. The pic is gonna be coloured and lots of stuff happening in the background, like cherries, skulls, stars etc, what ever my friend wants. I guess she's gonna be having this on her arm.

Face and hair are really nice. Torso too. Crown's a hoot.

Might want to make sure the relative weight of the legs match and the shine describes the form of the leg.

The legs should match. I first drew them side by side to make sure they are a match. Then i made a stencil and moved and made the front leg bigger to make it seen that is up front. So it should match. I can't see a fault in it?
