Very dreaming and soothing color. I like that sort of fading away figure on the right..fit into your title. :)

Thanks Eileen, what tools? hmmm I am trying so many these days I tend to foget but the knife wet is one that I seem to be using a lot. Glad you liked it:)

"Chasing the Sun" is so beautiful, romantic, whimsical and whispers
of lofty imagines as this gossamer fairy seems to be attracted to
the light of the sun ... a poetic endeavor but I hope she might also
be aware of the fable of Icarus where flying too close will only have
devastating results. A cautionary recommendation of distance may
be in order for this unsuspecting, winged wisp. I am reminded of lyrics
taken from a ... I think a David Usher song and the poignant words
go something like this ...

Things we found so lovely
Turn so ugly
I've grown nakeder day by day
It's quite disarming, I find it alarming
You're too close to the sun

Absolutely beautifully painted! :)
