Here is Red Spot 002, inspired by Alberts recent post at

http://www2.ambientdesign.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25788

The only rule for this thread (if you feel inspired) is...
that there must be a conspicuous solitary exclusive single red spot somewhere prominent in the painting :)

I love all the entries. I decided to follow the instructions with an extreme explicitness. Here is my take. :):):):)

100% AR3
Blow up to full screen to get rid of that compressed jpg texture in the green bordering the spot. That's not in the painting and spoils the look. It goes away at full screen.

Here's my reddot finally!!
It was so well hidden that even now I can't see it with my eyes open...

Don't know what I'm talking about..??
Just stare at the cyan dot in the image for a bit & then stare at something white.
;)

Sketch, Saddy, Albert, IIQ, Justin - terrific entries to the ever growing red dot extravaganza. I'm going to be forced into another it seems almost certain. These four are each divine - splendid. Saddy, you get the prize for tinniest dot. :D:)

OK, this is my last red spot venture. It started as an exercise just experimenting with the Real Color Blending mode and the next thing you know, there it was, that damn spot. :)
100% AR3, no filters.
Effects are observed when blown up full screen and viewed at a distance.
OPTICAL ILLUSION: if you stand about 6 feet or more from your monitor and stare at the red spot and the yellow circle it sits in you might be rewarded with an optical illusion - what you are looking at may change from one thing to something else. Fun if you're into it. :D:)
