I used five layers, oil, knife, airbrush, and stencils.
I hope you like it.

Lovely Sandra. If you hadn't said otherwise I would think you did this with stickers. :D

Dear Trent, I would love to too, and what a lovely dream. Maybe we all need to be kids again for a little while-what do you think? Thanks so much for your comment and time!:)

Pai, Thanks so much. I moved my layer a bit after changing an effect, and when I had these colors, I thought, STOP, don't do anything else! Whew, that is hard for me!:D

Doc, You are right! It was stickers, I still get the name of the tools mixed up!:o I am so happy that you liked it. Thanks a bunch!:)

Yes, Sandra, it's outstanding work. The reason I am so alert for stickers is that I believe that they are going to become one of the most versatile and powerful tools we have. The creative explosion has already started.

So very appealing, Alexandra! Great choice of colors! (The bottom 2/3 would make for an excellent tapestry!)

In addition to producing one wonderful image after another, you've become quite the innovator in the process. "I can't wait to see what will happen tomorrow." :)

Dear Bob, Thanks so much for your kind words and encouragement!
I know you enjoyed working with layers, effects, and transposing too. I don't think I would have ever thought about it without Peter's tutorial, so a big thanks to Peter, and here's to more good times with AR as we enter a new year, and all the best to you and your family Dear Bob!:D

There is a Monet flavor to the quieter areas of this one. It definitely stands apart from impressionism though with that fiery center. Peace and the color of blood, yet the image is not threatening. Perhaps that peaceful key lime sky is what makes me feel comfort and tranquility. Great use of color Alexandra.

Fashmir, In the start of this painting I started with a large area of red as the sun coming up from behind the hill. Splashing yellow about and blending with the knife here and there. During the transformation and difference of the layer, I moved it just a microsecond and the red merged with the field. At first, I thought of a time in Celtic history, the same feeling as you had, blood in a battle, but at the same time-that a new day had come. Thanks for your comment and for viewing! Have a happy New Year!
