12-16-2009, 06:41 PM
Thank you Byron, saddy, Flynn and coops..I am having big fun here..ha.ha. =) Just found out how this AR3 helps people to find their creativity even people don't like art or simply think they can't create. It's definitely for all family members no matter how old they are. It's not just graphical program/tools, I think it's a Creative Simulator for all artists. Just my thought

ok..still playing and try to figure out all these new tools/settings rather than painting yet. mostly because it's so much FUN. :p

Merry Christmas to everyone. :):):)

Another great and majestic work! :) Simply amazing skill!

12-19-2009, 03:01 AM
Hi Pai,

I love both of your new pieces - both use such very rich colors - the final results visually beautiful and lush, and charmingly whimsical. They are alive and fun, full of joyous spirit, certainly appropriate for the season. I can see you are having a great time exploring AR3 and you are building a delicious thread of your studies and joys. :):):)

12-19-2009, 03:04 AM
Great stuff Pai. :)

12-19-2009, 03:14 AM
These are great Pai, I'm going to have a look myself at these preset brushes.

12-22-2009, 11:38 PM
Thank you Rowena, Saddy, Byron, Boxy and Sandy for the kind words. This thread mostly for playing with tools and also create fun..silly..crazy stuffs. :p:)

This one only uses Gloop Pen and Watercolor. Both are default settings. The canvas is Swirly again. I love that canvas. One layer. Ahh..I rememberd now, I used few Oil Bristles strokes from the preset sticker spary. The effect mostly came from the canvas.

12-23-2009, 12:37 AM
This one looks great! I can see one portal from left to right, not in the middle tho. Really exciting paint. :)

12-23-2009, 03:20 AM
Fantastic work.

12-23-2009, 03:52 AM
Wonderful Pai - your having fun is translating into lots of fun seeing what you come up with next. Big smiles here viewing your new one. :):):)

12-23-2009, 05:25 AM
That cat has a serious static electricity problem. :)
Had the same thought.:):):) It's too funny Pai. Great paintings in here. :):):)

Merry Christmas Pai!!

12-23-2009, 05:48 AM
I really like that magical Christmas tree and the gloop and watercolor picture you added. It is fun to see your work in ar3. :)

12-29-2009, 10:36 PM
Thanks everyone for looking into this experiment thread.

I was feeling to spread some quick paint with the tools impulsively...so I did this with oil, watercolor and gloop pen..some knife..within 5 min or less...an abstract landscape....if you can see it from far.:p

12-29-2009, 10:42 PM
Pai, that is quite fantastic. Five minutes or less about makes me envious - you knocked out a beauty. The composition is a gem - colors are terrific; the forms and line are all marvelous. It's a beautiful world and a thoroughly successful, expressive abstract on all levels. All thumbs up - congratulations on a real winner. :):):):):):):):):)

12-29-2009, 10:53 PM
Byron, you are always so supportive and full of this encouraging words like other mates in this forum...haha. I am glad you like this spontaneously piece. I think I got this by looking at your thread too much..haha...you definitely inspire us all. Thanks again. :):):)

12-30-2009, 01:22 AM
I can see your having fun Pai and thrilling us all too. These are all wonderful paintings:)

12-30-2009, 02:08 AM
Pai, You have it-the touch!:)

12-30-2009, 02:10 AM
Pai, this latest creative surge from you is quite exciting to watch! I have enjoyed it immensely.

12-30-2009, 02:22 AM
Wow, pai....that looks so real. Well done with AR3.:):):)

12-30-2009, 03:17 AM
The fur is awesome. But the eyes, the eyes are where the focus is in this picture. Did you by any chance use the stickers for the eyes? I have used the Sphere String producing individual spheres and changing the colors and using the smoothing knife.

Really impressive work Pai.

12-30-2009, 07:53 AM
I like your AR3 experiments very, very very MUCH:):):D Pai!
It's a pleasure see your works. The last one is very interesting and lovely for me : impulsivity tract with right tools ;).

12-30-2009, 09:14 AM
more beautiful works dear Pai:):)

12-31-2009, 12:51 AM
pai, I really like the one on page 3 with the deer standing in a lake. Especially the top left of the image - how the landscape fades away as if in a colorful fog.

12-31-2009, 10:02 PM
I would like to see you doing only watercolors,
your oil paintings style is very light and close to watercolor style.

I like the white long cloud on the dark sky, the swirly painting and each of your paintings are interesting in a way or in an other.
I am rediscovering this thread and glad that you continue and have fun as you say. Happy New Year my friend and good paintings for 2010 to come.:):):):)

12-31-2009, 10:23 PM
That is the most amazing glooping I have seen yet. Very cool use of tools in this latest abstract. A great spash of color and mixed mediums... wonderful.

01-01-2010, 03:59 PM
Cool stuff! LOVE the cat!!!!!! :):):)

Crazy to see watercolor on canvas. Are there no fines for having too much fun?
