OK I know the first ones may not be perfect but I thought we could share em here and see what we make of this terrific program! This is my first attempt at water colors

Maybe a hint for future paintings, if you first lay down a coat of colorless (white)watercolor paint, you can make colors flow into each other. It might need some tweaking with the settings though. (try and error).

Nice start. Be sure to try the other tools too !

So that's why they wouldn't flow right. I knew they could from Fraser's wonderfull landscape. I admit I'm struggling with figuring out some of the setting and effects. But it is fun anyway! It will get better! Thanks for the tip!

You can also use white oil paint as it also is a "wet" type of paint as far as ArtRage is concerned. Or you can enable "Paper Wet" in the watercolour tool settings. All of these give different results so try them all. :D

I like this flower as it is though. :)

I doodle a cartoon-version of myself everytime I get a new software. AR3 demo was not an exception ;)

Thanks for the compliments. I know it still wasn't quite real water colors but I'm working on it!

DarkLotus (love the name AND the Lotus) really sweet pic & great start for AR 3 huh?! and Bebraw awesome oil, you can almost smell the rose! ( I can never get the paint to let the canvas show through like that.)

This one is much better. Still practicing the blending. There are so many ways I can't settle on a favorite. I used all the ones I could figure out on this.

Here's my first AR3 efforts. The first one is chibi seasonal fairies I designed ages ago but I forgot about them until I was sifting though my stack of old drawings for things to revamp on AR3 demo. The second one was just for fun (it's me wearing a christmas hat thingy) :D I LOVE AR3 but my mum wont let me get it for christmas... My favourite fairy is the autumn one. merry christmas artragers! :)
