Hi everyone.

I take some photos last week when first-snow was raining northern Finland. I get idea that many of painters perhaps can use photos round of world to found new ideas and etc. So, i open this photo-thread this tips ant trick forum then users can put photos here. Photos which is special and also possible to others to use tracing, reference, model, or idea level.

Sometimes with digital camera can make art without trying to make art.

Middle of image is moose mother and this summer borned moose kid. I take this image of my bornhomeyard. This moose was have twins, other goes wood to right when i take photo. When mooses are gone to wood i put camera away and of cource, coupple minutes goes and big male-moose comes, stand few second on that road and walk to wood. And my camera is faaaar away to my hands. Murphys law hits again. But this image is quite perfect.

If your livingplace dont have to see snow or snowrain this image perhaps give some feelings what kind it is sometimes.

really nice photo :)
I have been in Finland (Helsinki) for my work 2 years ago (I had to make a live demonstration of a 3D program I use for local resellers and journalists, I was sent by the program publisher) and now I really want to travel again to Finland with my wife and my daughter.
I live in the french alps so I know very well the snow and I love it :)

Hi, and thanks the commentc.

I show one 18-century Finnish old masters paintings. That time no electricity, no todays colors-material, no many other thing,,,,but paintings skills are top-professional.

Those old masters paintings are good trace-training material, i think. Some of Wright-brothers work can look next pages;

If someone knows web-page of 16-18centuryes master-painters page, i think that many is interesting to look those page and images? Please add here if know or do we make own master-artist web-page-address thread?

Heikki.

Hi DaK.

I think that 18-century Europe borders are open so that time peopple travell.....hmm...not by cars or aeroplanes...walking or travell with horses and boats...here north countryes and also most of Europe and Russian. So abroad...yes...that time abroad...seems that Wright-brothers has learn art Sweden and Norway also...exactly i dont know their lifehistory...but paintings are fine made. My thought is at that time artist learn-process is mainly self-learning process, paint,,,paint,,,and paint....and paint.

I found some page where is short history of their life.

Thanks Heikki.

Looks like they were all subject to severe sesures.

Wonder if it was something that in the modern world could have been helped. How much was genetic, how much was from local food or smoke from fireplaces, closing ventilation in the cold, or from oil paint materials etc.

They were clearly very talented.
