My hubby has been setting me speed painting trails the first picture was any topic but I had to paint it in monochrome and the second was my hubby chose my topic which was an underwater city. Both pictures had to be done in 60 minutes. They might not be artistic marvels but they were fun to do.

Love the kid Chibi :D

I'd love to see him all painted up sometime down the track, it's an excellent perspective you have there :)

Hello, Chibi!

I love both of your paintings, especially the concept of an underwater city! The end results on both pictures are astonishing! :)

I like both of them a lot. I really like the portrait of the youngster. It has a great style and expression. Very well done for a speed paint for sure.

Another speed paint my criteria was to use oils to denote fur as I usually use the chalk tool for this. The ground and grass was done using the glitter tool. As with my other speed paints I gave myself 60 minutes.

Thank you Silentman ,

I,m doing the speed paints to try out the different tools and to give myself a break from my bigger projects. For this one I set the criteria of I can only use the airbrush tool (Never used the airbrush before). This is a bit rough and ready and the nose was a pain to do but I like how it turned out.

Well that's done very well, that air brush is tricky, but you've done a very good job and I like the angle.

She looks like someone cracked her on the nose lol hehehe, just kidding with ya :p

If you got rid of those lines, the orange ones on the side and just use shade, then let the viewer imagine the rest, i reckon it would be better, i hear what your saying about big projects, but i would still love to see some of these speed paints worked up at some stage, they just have so much promise :)
