Cedric, was the black inking work done in ArtRage also, or separately? I can never maintain pressure when I want to, and attenuate pressure when I need to. The mix of smooth ink and nice grainy textured color really looks very nice and complementary.

I've been doing my inking in a program called Manga Studio (mostly because it does some nice smoothing of the pen tablet input), but I do coloring in other apps such as ArtRage or the GIMP. I'm going to have to play around with emulating this coloring style of yours, if you don't mind!

thank you for all your comments, it's nice.

halley : I know Manga Studio as I wrote a review (in french) about it (and next week I'll put online a review of Artrage)
As I said in a ealier post, I use either Artrage , either Manga Studio for inking and then Artrage (I used before Painter but since some weeks Painter looks like it's in retirement)
I love Manga studio and I love artrage too so sometime it's only artrage but sometime I use boths programs (even for the inking of ONE illustration)
