I wish I could paint a seascape like you do. You are the best at it I have ever seen.
I have been inspired to try oil by viewing your paintings. They are beautiful in my eyes.:):):):):)

Gorgeous. Thanks for letting us peek over your shoulder (and taking "notes"). I especially like your use of different grains to tell your visual story (taking more notes).

work finished but................something strange happened with the Burlap grain...........the phone rang while I was working and I think I must have saved as a jpeg and then forgot that it was a jpeg and I used the knife.........oh!oh! the grain started to disappear.....but I thought the result was good so now I have two versions and I don't know which one to post in the gallery!!!

Maybe I'll post both because working with Fashmir's Burlap grain is brilliant

anyway here they are

Aww man. Even with peeping over your shoulder I still cant believe the amount movement you get into the sea.

I'd buy either.:)

Well there you go, after coming back i can decide lol, something urk's me about the dottyness of the top one, i really don't know how to explain it, it's just all the minute dots that i don't like much, i really like the smoothness of the bottom one, it's absolutely beautiful and like Stephen said, i too would buy it :)

I prefer the first one, it seems darker, lovely seascape Pete.
