Ok you start a project thinking gosh this should be easy a dog at a table with a big stick, I have my photos as reference of you go. Only to find the whole thing becomes a big learning curve with such things as what works in photos doesn't work as well in a painting a bit of artistic licence is needed to make a it work, puting a few images together to make a new picture can be a bit of a headache as you have to think where the light will be coming from in your picture and then you think dang and blast I still have the back ground to do. My friend had better apriciate this surpise picture of his pooch :D This painting is not quite finished I have a few details to put on the table like an upturned cup and the wooded background to do but I am glad I have pretty much finished the blasted dog :)

Its a huge stick and from the photograph I am working from the stick really was this big. I got the dog jumping up at the table as the person whos dog it is told me the story that after the he took this picture his dog tried to give it to some people at a picnic bench he was to busy grabbing his dog to get that picture lol, so my picture is to capture that moment :D:D

Well I have added some background I need to add two more fore ground trees and difine the one I have painted a bit more. Then wack some small details on the table like an upturned cup and I should be done, I hope ....... I found the glitter tool great for doing the leaves on the trees.
