I've often thought, when looking at the marvelous old masters or the amazing moderns, how if they'd just added Puddy it would be so much better... sigh...

And, oh yeah, great painting Rick... eagerly looking forward to seeing it finished!

Thanks for the comments..
chambersecrets, No, I wish I did.. Unfortunately, I have no artistic talents, I always use a reference.. I guess you would say I am just a software manipulator.. But I do enjoy the manipulation process..

Wonderful Painting, Dear Rick.

Rick, this is just looking awesome! As far as your artistic talent goes, you're loaded with talent! All artists use references - whether the image is referenced from real life, photo or one's memory - it's what you do with it and how you incorporate your emotions and soul into it. You're definitely doing that!!!

Hmm, I don't think Puddy is a big fan of parsnips and onions but I think I soon will be. :)

Rick- you have tons of artistic skill. i dont usually set up my own refs either so dont feel bad. cant wait to see more! Also is this done in oil?

Beautiful Rick. Did this make it to the gallery yet? If so I missed it. Darn. :)

07-25-2009, 12:21 AM
No, gzairborne, it probably will never see the gallery.. It was lost in fatal computer crash.. I tried to resurrect it, but my heart was no longer in it.. Perhaps I will revisit it some day down the road..

It is such a shame this was lost, I found it fascinating when it was only part complete.
