WARNING: Nude chick and violence :D

Dear Frank, sorry but this one is not good, there is no censoring any, furthermore this one is a simple answer.

Yea. You have to add an effect of realism on it. ;)

FrankLoewy

Thanks Byron :)

Aren't simple answers the best, Levent Suberk? Besides it's not an answer it's just an artistic joke in a long time tradition.

I think it's almost to much realism included, Greegorush. :)

FrankLoewy,
With respect ... I cannot help but to notice that ... was it you that beat
this poor chicken to a pulp, plucked out all of it's glorious plumage, hung
it unceremoniously from the rafters then slapped duct tape on it to .......
1) make a point or .... 2) eat it for dinner? (or a combination of both?) If
the number 2 question has merit then I have a lovely orange glaze recipe
that I could give you if interested. :)

LMAO Mair... yeah, we know why... no orange glaze recipe necessary.

Mair, I'll take the recipe though, I know you're an awesome cook. Let this poor chicken rest in piece. UGH!

Aaaaaaaand respectfully .... what "problem" was that, Frank??? :p

FrankLoewy

haha of cause it was the problem of being hungry. As far as I know: Other problems can't be solved by chickens. ;):D

Could you please explain your last reply Fraser?

FrankLoewy

Irishrose what are you talking about? I wrote that I was very hungry when I drafted this joke. And I had fried chicken for lunch.

Remember?

I was very, verrry hungry... and I have to confess it was chicken which solved my problem#

Maybe... ok for sure... you see more in it than I do. ;)

Frank? Raymond? (Gee, now I am not too sure who I am addressing!)
I must respectfully agree with irishrose .... that is no fried chicken that
you sketched but a raw, naked (disrobed it was!) and apparently
physically abused with duct tape slapped over it's poor beak so it can't
consider asking for help! ;) :)

Poor chicken.. it deserves a rightful funeral... Mair, you're good at those.. this one is not coming back to life for a pizza though. :(

irishrose,
I am afraid that you are sadly correct ... it's too late to give this abused
feathered friend a proper send off because after Frank had his way with
it .... he is going to eat it! (Without my orange glaze recipe!) :o

irishrose

Ah, well... we will just say our farewells and pray the chicken fares much better in the next life.

I'll still take that orange glaze recipe. :)

I think the lesson here is never stick your nose inside a dead chicken uninvited. :D;)

byroncallas,
And pray tell just where did you get that chicken that you are sticking your
nose in??? We know it's not Frank's clucker because he just ate his!!! :p ;) :D

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall up with our English fowl.
In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility:
But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the IrishRose;
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard-favour'd rage;
Then lend the eye a terrible aspect;
Let pry through the portage of the head
Like the brass cannon; let the brow o'erwhelm it
As fearfully as doth a galled rock
O'erhang and jutty his confounded base,
Swill'd with the wild and wasteful ocean.
Now set the teeth and stretch the nostril wide,
Hold hard the breath and bend up every spirit
To his full height. On, on, you noblest Mairzie Dotes.
Whose blood is fet from fathers of war-proof!
Fathers that, like so many Byron Callas',
Have in these parts from morn till even fought
And sheathed their swords for lack of KFC:
Dishonour not your mothers; now attest
That those whom you call'd fathers did beget you.
Be copy now to men of grosser blood,
And teach them how to war. And you, good Frank Loewy,
Whose limbs were made I know not where, show us here
The mettle of your pasture; let us swear
That you are worth your breeding; which I doubt not;
For there is none of you so mean and base,
That hath not noble lustre in your eyes.
I see you stand like chickens in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Artrage, England, and Saint George!'

fraser paice,
Respectfully speaking, a small correction might be in order ... I have never
been very astute at math but while using my fingers and toes for a handy
abacus I do not recall being best begot the gift of begettment in a thousand
moonlit nights but .... ohhhhh, if only the God's would grant me with a go-
getter begetter that would be worthy of his be letting woo doo voo doo ....
I would surely consider this bedazzling, befriending, besetter if only he would
appear and begin the begine!
Why, for some strange reason am I now thinking of Cole Porter??? :p ;) :)

Mair, this is BRILLIANT, just like Neil's poem... I think we have another poet here... you are awesome too! :) Yes, I was thinking Cole Porter as well! hehe

My god that's fun, the most significant difference between grade school's first years and closing in on having grand children is merely the amount of vocabulary at one's expense, hm?! :D

You folks are cute!

Not to mention that I'm still hearing the echo of Fraser's chanty! Oh so burly! :D

Oh we've seen a lot
I mean a lot
And now we're like sweet seventeen a lot
Bewitched, bothered and bewildered am I
Oh, we're vexed again
Perplexed again
Thank God we can't be over-sexed again
Bewitched, bothered and bewildered am I

Taron, you wouldn't believe how painful this thread was (had to be here)... but thanks...

And funny how Frank knows the word lucullan but never heard of the word whip which became the brunt of other threads. Sure.. right, okie dokie. ;) Is there anyone here who has not EVER heard of the word Whip?? Puleeze!

And nice ending to a long day Neil... Cole wraps it up! :) Great lines!!!

So much great art passes through here, but few achieve 5 pages, fewer yet inspire such poetry, or merriment. I would say the chicken did perhaps not die in vain, even if only in pixel-land.

We find each other in the root of controversy's story of success. Pair that revelation with the dark side of capitalism (assuming there's a bright side to it somewhere else?!) and that's exactly how the world had drifted off into the seemingly insane lifestyle we're immersed in. Provocation spawns interest until we really scratch dignity. Once dignity wakes up, provocation becomes benign.

Wake up, let go of the nonsense and on we go with all the beautiful things we can do... but thanks to Fraser and Mairzie this thread became one of the beautiful things we can do, hahahahaha.... THE DILEMMA!

This thread might shortly implode, so carefully retreat...

fraser paice,
Thanks for reminding me ... just love this song .... such beautiful lyrics. :)

I'm wild again, beguiled again
A simpering, whimpering child again
Bewitched, bothered and bewildered - am I

Couldn't sleep and wouldn't sleep
When love came and told me, I shouldn't sleep
Bewitched, bothered and bewildered - am I

Lost my heart, but what of it
He is cold I agree
He can laugh, but I love it
Although the laugh's on me

I'll sing to him, each spring to him
And long, for the day when I'll cling to him
Bewitched, bothered and bewildered - am I

I am cackling so hard just reading this that I just about up clucked my
innards! :D :D :D :D :D :D

Am also now wondering ... what ever DID happen to that plucky Frank
and his bird? Guess they musta both crossed the road together and
stopped off at "After Nine" then decided to stay for a free range,
dressed or UNdressed prepared dinner at the members only, we never
close deli. Heard there was a combo special being offered ... light meat
AND dark! :D :D :D :D ;) :)
