Wow, Katie, it's been a while since I've been in here...

These are awesome tributes to such very well deserving artists, Dali, Flynn the Cat, Someonesane, and BMCIllustrator... it's very obvious to see this is a gallery forum in itself! Great work and such a selfless thing, I think it's great to have the skills to be able to put this together. :) I feel like I'm in a real art gallery! :D

Digital produced art is not always understood by the world of traditional art traders and painters. When I started digital art I felt refused and so I virtually exhibited in London with my Gallery of the Refused, like Edouard Manet and his impressionist followers did in Paris at the end of the 19th century. Now I met ArtRage and all those ArtRage forummers not so long ago, I'm conviced that digital painting cannot be denied anymore.

Dear Oriane and Byron, I'm impressed by the MOARA MUSEUM. It's the ultimate proof that digital painting and drawing has won a place in the art world. Art history is written here!

I'm certain to make some contributions to the MOARA MUSEUM soon by creating my own museum gallery room illustrations. Keep up the fine work.

Briex, you're bringing some new life and new ideas to the MOARA. The subway stop is divine - and that little peek at you know who's terrific little piece of landscape is integrated brilliantly along with little hits of a few other divine pieces from the MOARA's fine artists. I think you should post your map in here too. It compliments the great spirit of the thread. :):):)

Indeed Oriane, indeed. Hear, hear. Must hang in the central gallerie, large, in the middle of the museum.

Btw way I have received permission from a photographer at http://www.sxc.hu to use her factory interior pictures for showing ArtRage paintings and drawings on the walls. So the MOARA will get extra galleries soon!!

Briex: I love your Gallery 23 Founder's Tribute. As coops said, "very tastefully done". It's an inventive setting. Your execution is great.

To your point about the founders and your "correct me if I'm wrong" query from the original Gallery post: Oriane is the principle founder of the MOARA. It was his brainchild. He introduced it and maintained it for many weeks. Oriane conceived and executed most all of the initial tributes. Oriane is the MOARA's fountainhead, its spiritual and material founder.

After a number of weeks Coops (Katie) and gzairborne (Albert) began contributing excellent tribute rooms. In time they took over most of the production of new rooms while Oriane more or less passed on the thread to the community. The contributions from Katie and Albert from that point forward were the lifeblood that gave the MOARA a second wind. That wind is still blowing strong with others now posting fine tributes following in their footsteps.

In all honesty, my single contribution was coining a name in a fleeting moment in a post that Oriane thought was fitting. He tried it out and it has stuck in one or more forms. This isn't modesty. I've been a champion of the thread like scores of other forum members. But the creative energy that makes MOARA what it is today are the generous efforts given by Oriane, Katie, and Albert. Albert's paintings are the ones that more appropriately belong in the slot that you so generously gave to me in the wonderful Gallery 23 founders tribute.

Meanwhile, it's fun watching the new blood and ideas you bring to the community museum. This thread is a treasure, designed for each of us to honor the others in our midst who inspire us with their creative contributions and good will. It's now taken on a life of its own. Thank for your new contributions to it, and being part of the community that gives it continued energy and life. :)

Repeated from the main gallery thread:

Eddie, the update with the whole MOARA is an extraordinary visual contribution to our community. In a little over seven minutes one gets a visceral experience encompassing tens of thousands of hours of thought, contemplation, practice, hard work, struggle, fun, brushstrokes, digital clicks and final elation that give rise to the creative output of thousands of creative journeys. It's a monumental "summing" tribute to ArtRage, The MOARA, and all the artists young and old, novice and pro and everywhere in between who contribute to the vitality of this forum community through their engaged and engaging creative output and thoughtful conversation.

You did good old friend. If I had a thousand thumbs they'd all be up. The two I've got lifted up high are terribly insufficient expressions to say how much I appreciate both your effort and the result. Yo Eddie - great great job. :):):)

Wow, Ms. Coops. Look at you with the clever reflections. They add so much.

I agree that Alkratzer got an arresting color sense. Walking into this gallery room I feel like there's got to be a pot o' gold around here somewhere.

Great tribute. :):):):):)

Oh man. . . what a hysterical platform for the traveling art picture show, halle' halle'. Pack up the babies and grab the old ladies and everyone goes, everyone knows Valerie's Art Picture Show. . . Hallelujah. . . Can I get a Witness, Robert! . . .But I digress

Valerie, your stuff looks really cool displayed in the open sunlight like that. The good news is that it will never fade so long as you NEVER leave the museum. . . (or was that a Shangri La?) Well no matter. It's cracking good. :):):):):)

Well done Ms. Coops yet again! You're the glue. . . :):):)
