Dear friends, several external links for downloads give virus alerts (HTML Suspicion Code and Heuristic virus alerts)... Be sure to setup an antivirus software on your harddisk.

I am very keen with my computer software and files, I clean all cookies with both "CCleaner" and "System Cleaner 5" programs after every internet connection. I tried those external links several times about viruses and malware before posting this thread. I always update antivirus software. No problem with my computer, I am sure.

I cannot say that is something wrong with your machine, but I'm using Avira Antivirus too and I didn't find any problem.

What links have you tried, that have shown a problem? I'm sure it'd be best if they were deleted from the forums, if they did prove to be problematic (though I haven't run into any issues yet). I scan everything I download anyway (even from people I know, because sometimes they don't know they have the virus themselves).

(EDIT) - Found one of the links you were talking about, because you posted there as well about the issue. I downloaded the pack and scanned it a few times. So far, my program hasn't picked anything up.

if you want I can delete all my post, no problem. Let me know...ok?

I wouldn't go that far just yet. It doesn't seem as though anyone else is getting the warnings yet, so it could just be something specific to his system, as you said.

Perhaps the setting of your anti-virus heuristics are too high and block advertisements.

Yes, the heuristic setting is high, but not block ads.

I'm not experiencing the virus warnings either and have been having no problems.

Please MisterPaint, do NOT remove your links. There are still items I wish to download.
