Anyone know of any basic getting started digital painting tutorials on the net? There seems to be some nice DVD training from Gnomon but I'm not to the point to where I want to get that in depth yet, just getting started.

if you want tutorials for digitial painting on a general scale and not just for ArtRage there are lots to be found on the internet. Just try a broad google search and I'm sure you'll find what you are looking for.

The gnomon dvd's are indeed very nice (we have the whole collection here at work) and much are to be learned from them. But they are quite expensive.

I haven't seen many tutorials on Artrage yet, but I have planned a few and Hanzz here already have two out. Maybe when the community get notification that this forum is up we will get more and more of the such. Heres hoping!

On a side note there are also a few books out on the subject. You should be able to find them on amazon.com or directly from the publishers website.

good luck. :)
