Sweedie just posted this a day or so ago in answer to a different question.

He suggests a free program (if you have a PC) that does slideshows.

Looks like it's what you're looking for.

Scroll down to his post to get the link. You might want ot ask him questions about it.

Hi Heikki,
XnView will do a slide show but I've not tried that feature yet.

Now I have, seems to be straightforward simple drag and drop procedure.
I had one running in seconds.

Thanks fellows.

I load this XnView. Quite simple made slideshow.

I think that it need XnView also to see it also so it is difficult to but to see through internet?

How XnView output-file can transform so that it can look example winamp-program? Or internet-web-page directly?

I mean that i want to made slide-show so that it can look without any kind of load-needing new program. Because computer is too full of more small programs etc.

Best is maybe so that can look through internet-web page directly?

And another:

Thanks justG the tips.

I look those pages and last one seems to be best simpple to use, so it hit direct to my G-point. :D

I made one show to my tale-series. Music make the file big so take some time to load. Over 2Mb.

Hope it works. I test it more and if it ok then i made more image-shows.

Only problem is that if connect music file size comes big and take time to load it, even if you have fast internet connection. :?

Test show can look my pages at this page.

G-point, heikki?

I love your personality shining through your broken English.

Anyway, I was blown away by your slide show.

The music and tha art work really well together. It gives it all a modern twenty-first century Finnish folk art feel.

The only criticism I have is not for the art, but rather that the transitions are a bit slow. It takes a long time for the cross dissolves to happen.

Unless there's a reason you want us to watch them overlapped, you may want to do that bit quicker.

But it's great. Truly.

Thanks, DA-key. to open advice. Thanks is good to see and hear but need also other side to see better own dones. Like we says here in Finalland, ruusuja ja risuja, roses and brushwoods. :? Of cource the green field is normally between roses and brushwood, like hayfield is. :D

I learn more that program, it seems that must order professional version, so then can adjust better those transition times. Not sure yet.

If you are running WinXP why not use Windows Movie Maker that is bundled with the system? I have found it to be "down and dirty" which means easy and simple for slide shows.
Computers make decision making harder because of so many choices.

Thanks, Ingie tip.

I test it later.

This program what i test now seems to be easy to use, only some software-bugs and timing-problem animation slide+music is still, but it is new program and new things has always so called childproblems.

Thanks, from Heikki.
