View Full Version : The old Gang. (Unfinished)

I wanted to finish this but it's getting too tedious at this point so I'll just say unfinished. It started as a sketch I did while camping last spring. Don't ask me what it's all about 'cuz I do not know. I just started with some lines and circles and kept going.

Doesn´t seem unfinished to me, but then you´re the artist. I always liked your "people" paintings.

hi jibes, welcome back. i remember your paintings because you always have lots of charcters in it and feel with warmth with different daily lives activities just like this one. Very nice one. :)

Thanks Scott and Pai and everyone else who viewed my paintings.
And Pai, before I started using Artrage I would rarely if ever have figures in my pics. I'm not saying it was because of ArtRage but rather that was about the time I started getting serious about painting pics with figures. I felt that like music without vocals, pics without figures did not connect as well as with figures. It has that human connection I believe. Still, I don't always add them.

Looks like there in town, milling around deciding where to go next. Good painting.

To quote Dora from Finding Nemo (which played for 3 years non-stop in my house) "Just keep swimming Just keep swimming Swimming swimming Just keep........" Don't let that get stuck in your head!

Totally cool that this image materialized from from doodles! It seems to have a purpose or reason. Like a dream that you can only remember part of. For some reason, those people wanted to exist and for some reason, you created them. I love images like this!

Very well defined for an unfinished painting. I could write a story to this. Well done!

Congratulations, dear Jibes! It's like a revival of some of Your initial wonderful paintings very spontaneous and evocative in their colourful depiction.
