Good evening to all of you,

Well as the title began to explain it, few years ago, when I started doing nude sketching courses, I heard the teacher talking of a certain technique for representing fabrics and the way they apply on the model, the way they fold upon the body...

I only remember something about beginning with parallelograms and/hexagons on a first simplified pass and then refining it...

Has some of you ever heard of this ? does some ressources/tutorials exists ? have you a different way to achieve this ?

I look for hearing from you soon, while making some attempts...

thank you for having spent time on my interrogation

Regards

Pedro

I'm not sure if either of these link are exactly what you had in mind, but then every artist has his or her own way of doing things. Though, when you mentioned the use of shapes, they seemed to closer to what you were thinking of then anything else I've seen
