Here's an art resource for the wee ones - or big ones who like working with the simulated wax crayons on Artrage.

I scanned the colours from my nephew's doodlings on regular paper and used it to develop a colour sample swatch for Artrage. The crayon colour swatch can be found in a zipped file on my DeviantArt account here: http://bolsterstone.deviantart.com/art/Crayola-Style-Colours-Artrage-97512542.

Hope they are of use.:)

Wonderful colors, only thing missing is the smell. I love the smell of crayons:D

LOL! :p

Perhaps that should be part of the new Artrage 3.0. Perhaps a solution in the meantime would be to get some crayons and place them in front of your computer. You could maybe smell them as you work to get the full experience. :)

Heh! As a teacher, I've always felt that anything which gets the students more into art is a good thing. Glad this helps! :)

Me too. A bit oversaturated for some of us more mature types, but Crayola does know what sorts of bright colours kids like.

I will not though that this only covers 64 colours. I understand that somewhere out there, there is a little Crayola carry-all that has 256.

If I were a kid with that many coloured crayons on hand, I wouldn't know where to start.

Thank you! I miss when my generation( and me) were still using these instead of being obsessed with our phones and such. Although I use mine a lot too...:p
