View Full Version : Winter on the hill

Here is one that started as 3 or 4 swipes horizontally with the Paint Roller and I took it from there. Hope you like it.
I am unable to continue with the "Painting a day" for the time being. I am concentrating on writing a dozen or so songs and it's taking a long time. Songwriting takes much longer than painting for me. I recorded all the songs ("Off the cuff") in one day but now have to flesh them out.

You made me flashback: I'm eight years old and I've been sledding in the snow after school. Darkness has fallen and I'm walking up to my home and the snow has this amazing electric blue glow to it. For years I wished I could capture it in a painting. No need now -- you have already. Beautiful piece!

Thanks Alexandra and alkratzer, it makes my day to hear I've evoked flashbacks. Glad you enjoyed it.
