It seems there may be interest in posting FOOD paintings with a
creative, whimsical flair. Unhinge your imagination and stalk the
produce section for subjects if you dare. Example, below.

OOoooo! The O.J. twins have now been separated and the operation
is a success. one living in the Gallery nursery and one now here until
they are old enough to be hugged and "squeezed". So cute! :)

Dear Lee, I must have inherited some of the ancient Pompeian spirit! Glad You found them amusing. :D

Dear Mairzie (or should I call You now Pandora, considering the vase You opened with this thread?), I realized too late that You posted a picture similar to Your Avatar but with far better resolution I should have used instead. :( Yes I'm pretty sure You're a ripe and tasty banana to peel (actually You are self-peeling here)! I'd say the second drawing may dispel any doubt thereabout  even if it's certainly a poorer equipment than DA's double guns!

Caesar,
Your creative mind should be bottled with a label reading,
"Classic-One of a Kind!" :D :D :D
Re: my new avatar, thought the first one was O.K. but when
I reduced it to submit, it took on a grainy appearance, making
me look like someone had hit me in the face with a sack of flour
but I thought, who cares ! One of the members seeing my latest
"Semi plucked roasted Turkey in pan" entry was nice enough to
make the new one. Am wondering if he was getting queezy (or
cacking) with me looking a lot like the Pillsbury Dough Boy and
decided to take pity on me ! LOL ! :)

P.S. Please don't let D Akey near me. I am afraid if he looses one
of his banana guns he might want to use me as a "back up".

Jodi Frye
05-06-2008, 11:32 AM
Mairzie, you are too funny...thanks for that.

By the way...ya gotta post a ' thick oils only ' project so that I can be forced to use them. I have not yet felt that I have the control of this tool, in full thicky greasy mode ( thinned as watercolors I can do ;) ) I tend to give up with it too easily..I need forceful pushes. I can start Wednesday :)

Candy Heart with an Attitude !

Since Caesar was so thoughtful to paint me in a semi peeled banana
state, now seen by the ENTIRE world, I thought I'd return the favor
by sending him a belated Valentine's greeting knowing how special
this holiday is to him. :D

Caesar
05-06-2008, 08:23 PM
Thank You Mairzie for Your dedicated Valentine cake! (there's no emoticon with a whirling tongue)
It looks like You're very good at cooking both turkeys and pies and I grew a couple of kilos since You started this thread (not true, just joking)! :)

Dear Caeser, thanks so much for the lesson on Arcimboldo, amazing paintings!

Caesar
05-07-2008, 01:30 AM
You're welcome Lee. Rather than make lessons like a professor I'd prefer to share with You what we've got around here after more than three millennia of a huge number more or less odd people who preferred to deal with art instead than working on normal actvities!

Oh, deal Jody, I apologize for not thanking You timely and so far just because I did not saw Your post while I was delighting in Mairzies compliments!

Mairzie Dotes
05-07-2008, 11:42 AM
Hi Jodie,
Someone should force both of us to use "thick oils" only. Just
tried out the "paint roller" tool for the first time last night on
"Candy Heart with an Attitude". Tried a couple of previous
attempts with it and am a bit more comfortable with it now.
Would also like to try some new projects with thick oil techniques.
Let's dive in and see what we can come up with ? :D

Mairzie Dotes
05-07-2008, 11:54 AM
Caesar,
Keep that humor of yours coming. I always look forward to
laughing with you. I figured that if a "blue" period was good
enough for Picasso, it was good enough for me. Did the masters
ever enter into a "pink" period or am I being shallow ? :)

Mairzie Dotes
05-07-2008, 12:06 PM
Caesar,
Archimboldo and Archimboldo.Water . . . Wonderful,
creative, classic and unique. Thank you for sharing
them with us, friend. :D

05-07-2008, 01:22 PM
Hey Mairzie Dotes,

What a fun thread! All the paintings had me smiling at the whimsy.

But Caesar's, that male banana with attitude had me laughing my head off!!

Whoa, Caesar

A square one with a little hat on?

Is that an Italian phenomena?

Hmm...I really should save up my money to visit Italy!

Caesar
05-07-2008, 05:35 PM
Dear Miarzie, Picassi did enter into a pink period both when he was young ... and when he had, later on, very young models as lovers!
You may perhaps enjoy being young and or look for any handsome model for a pink period

Dear Inket, we,ve not been anymore that geometric since the ancient Romans who were superb egineers, but I bet You may enjoy the place anyhow!

Mairzie Dotes
05-07-2008, 06:55 PM
Say Hey hinket,
Nice to know that you are laughing your head off. LOL !
Re: Caesar, the real story is more telling than just his
Italian heritage. Caesar has a WILD side that he has kept
hidden until now. That banana painting is only a hint of
what of what he is capable of. I am holding my breath in
anticipation of his next entry. :)

Mairzie Dotes
05-07-2008, 07:01 PM
Caesar,
The way you are describing Picasso's "pink" period
makes me now want to immediately switch to a
different color.

Caesar
05-07-2008, 09:39 PM
Mairzie, it looks like I'm both appreciated and seen a little disquieting for honest ladies by You. Why? :o
I can assure that I'm a good and respectful boy (20-30 years ago) as my wife would certainly certify!
I did not even want to boast though or hint anything unusual, yellow or squared, but You reminded me to thank God for pathologies I avoided so far.
It would be easy after all to feel "macho",nowadays when so many people swallow coloured pills and tablets for boosting or revive "vegetables" without attitude, often taking a strict quantitative performance approach, thus missing the overall intriguing, magical human relationship which requires more and other than just one head (and not the main one) and/ or a mechanical overperformance to enjoy and share. :)
Hopefully this means, if I'm right, that there would still be a niche market for someone where robots cannot compete! :D

Caesar
05-07-2008, 09:47 PM
By the way, Mairzie, not to keep You breathless too long now that I'm going to paint something "normal" too, I'd suggest You to look to the old Taron's Halloween Pumpkin thread to amuse Yourself.
Oh, ... watch also to what You write, because enemy can listen to! In the last sentence of the post before the one where You declined to follow Picasso's way, You may seem inconsistant according to a malicious interpretation!

Mairzie Dotes
05-07-2008, 09:58 PM

Dang ! I may have been caught by my "pink" period
inconsistency when I was really thinking of the color,
"PEACH" but will save my stellar reputation by viewing
"Taron's Halloween Pumpkin" thread." We not
only look forward to and appreciate your "normal" but
also all of you wonderful paintings. Art Rage would not

Must share this "nature's wonder" experience with you. Happened to be
in my yard yesterday taking some photos of indigenous grizzly bears
and felt being stared at from something above. As I looked skyward,
to my shock and amazement, there was a cloud formation that appeared
to look much like one of our favorite food groups, the Pillsbury Dough Boy !
Quickly I snapped a photo of the anomaly as it breezed over my head then
heading strait for Ohio, the apparition was gone as quickly as it came.
Had to share this photo with you as proof that I witnessed a true miracle of nature.

He seems to do that, no?? Super Cesare!

Caesar
05-11-2008, 07:37 AM
If You were right dear Rose (but Mairzie start using lead covers recently not to be peered by Super Cesare), I think I never had so much success before with drawings and paintings, when I was young I mean.
Most girls preferred the guys playing music instead and most often far more rascal than a poor gallant knight as me. :(
I cannot play any musical instrument, alas, but at least my voice was charming enough to someone (on the phone in particular), although a professor used to stop me in the class chorus because I usually was an octave below the others!

Dear Super Caesar, (defender of the masses)
Thank you for having such confidence in me to not divulge your
true identify of being our air born hero of the skys (Pigeons always
give you the right of way) but Luthor (evil doer) confiscated your
photo and published it in Art Rage for all to see. (Don't blame me)
Your only hope for the future is your XRay vision so that you may
protect yourself from all of Luthor's dirty tricks such as sending
Spudman to impersonate you. We know that you are the real hero
though, we can tell the difference because Spudman has Acne and
you don't. You are the true protecter of women, children and sissy
men. Fly on Super Caesar, fly on !

Funny thing, I wasn't at all humorous until I became
an Art Rage member. Still not sure what happened.

irishrose
05-11-2008, 08:03 AM
Yes, Mairzie, isn't it scary? I feel the same... there's something about AR... could it come through the internet?? Weird. ;)

Mairzie Dotes
05-11-2008, 08:07 AM
irishrose,
Wow ! Gary Larson is also one of my favorite cartoonists.
By the way, Rice Crispies is one of my favorite cereals.
I have recently shied away from eating it with bananas
though. You will know why if you viewed some of our
earlier entry's.

Mairzie Dotes
05-11-2008, 08:10 AM
irishrose,
I agree! We have somehow been ZAPPED by
the Art Rage ray gun.

Caesar
05-11-2008, 08:14 AM
I did not wish to interrupt this sweet ladies session Rose and Mairzie, but I wish You a wonderful night while I'll try to dream to the harem You are suggestiong to me on Art Rage and enjoy it the old fashion virtual way, that is sleeping!
I would then give You both the good nite kiss and fold over the blanket Myladies!

irishrose
05-11-2008, 08:19 AM
Good night, dear Cesare, sleep well... we will tuck you in. :)

Mairzie, yes, I love Rice Krispies too and I did see many of your bananas, the first was lovely... and of course, the two that Cesare has done... I understand why you wouldn't add apples (I saw the one Cesare done of Eve)... oy! Anyway, yes, we have been zapped for sure! haha

Mairzie Dotes
05-11-2008, 08:31 AM
irishrose,
WHOOHOO and ditto about tucking Caesar in. LOL !

juliediane
05-11-2008, 08:39 AM
Girls, I think we should take a vacation......go to Italy and see if Caesar is truly super caesar. Orrrrrrr we could just drop his wife an email and see what she says about it. LOLOLOL

My husband says that him being from Italy that he would be a gentleman.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

irishrose
05-11-2008, 08:41 AM
Oh, I don't know how Cesare's wife would take it... but I am SURE that he would be a perfect gentleman and I'm all for a trip. Whatdya say? You all in? He would be OVERWHELMED! We may see a totally different side of Super Cesare after all! ;)

Mairzie Dotes
05-11-2008, 04:16 PM
juliediane,
LOL! I think you may be on to something. I have a connection
with the airlines and can obtain three tickets for you, irishrose
and I. Whoohoo, Italy here we come !!! We can learn Italian
(all we need to know) on the flight over. Shall I reserve one or
two way reservations for us ? LOL !

Mairzie Dotes
05-11-2008, 04:21 PM

Girls a trip sounds wonderful.

juliediane
05-11-2008, 09:54 PM

irishrose
05-12-2008, 01:25 AM
Mair, Julie.. thanks... let's go!

Bob, I'm wearing a Parka and going in the winter! LOL...

And Julie I LOVE your RICE KRISPIE treats... there's Albert, Bob and Cesare! ;)

I'd add D Akey too, but there are only three!

xo Happy Mother's Day girls!

Bob, put that hose away! Just cause it's hot here in Florida (and other states) doesn't mean we're wearing t-shirts. There is AIR CONDITIONING here! haha

Mairzie Dotes
05-12-2008, 02:36 AM
rose,
How about juliediane's Bob, Al, Caesar Rice Crispy TREATS! YUM !
The only reason D Akey isn't there yet is because julie is adding
banana's to his batch so it takes a bit longer. Can't wait until he's
done.
The weather is decent here in Pa. so I'm wearing a tee shirt but don't
think Bob's hose can reach all the way here from Ohio. LOL !

Mairzie Dotes
05-12-2008, 02:45 AM
juliediane,
Just let rose and I know when you can sneak off. We will
scoot off to the airport before anyone knows you are missing,
or we can consider another avenue, traveling incognito. We
can disguise ourselves as Snap, Crackle and Pop! That way
even Caesar won't know who is ringing his doorbell until it's
TOO LATE !

irishrose
05-12-2008, 03:36 AM
LOL... Mair, I like the way you think!

Can't wait to see Julie's Banana of D Akey!

Incognito here too! LOL

I'm working on my rendition... should be up sometime later today. It took a while to think of this one. Bleh... my brain is not up to speed lately!

Mairzie Dotes
05-12-2008, 05:05 AM
rose,
I can disguise myself as Snap. Crackle and Pop are still up for grabs.
LOL !
Funny thing, I am also working on an entry, Let's take our time and
make everyone wait in painful anticipation. It's not the destination
but the journey !!! LOL !

irishrose
05-12-2008, 05:11 AM
I'll be Pop, Mair,... I miss my Pop and I'll go as him :)

And yes, the journey is the best part.... i hope I can find some time, these kids never stop! ;)

Mairzie Dotes
05-12-2008, 06:26 AM
rose,
O.K.! I'm Snap, you have Pop and juliediane can be Crackle! (That
makes us sound like a singing trio. LOL !) Boy is Caeasr in trouble
now!
Take your time, Mom. We will all be here having some of juliediane's
delicious Rice Crispie TREATS while we wait.

Tie me down! LOL !
Great entry from the Far Far side, rose!!! :D

irishrose
05-12-2008, 07:31 AM
No interventions, and no peeing either! Geesh, you're going to make me laugh so hard I'll have to pull out the PULL UPS! Oy! Yup, it was either pea or cauliflower, but that looked too much like vanilla.. I thought about broccoli too... you have to have your greens, and pistachio just never cut it for me! LOL

No Depends for me, thank God I can still manage the small sizes of everything. :)

Mairzie Dotes
05-12-2008, 07:33 AM
rose,
Had some help? Nah! :? That is what Super Caesar really looks
like with rippling muscles and devil may care expression.

irishrose
05-12-2008, 07:34 AM
We DEFINITELY have to get to Italy. When do we leave (send me a PM so the rest don't know what's going on!) hehe

Caesar
05-12-2008, 08:44 AM
Very funny drawing of someone familiar Mairzie! Now I know what means to open the Pandora's vase!
An aged guy, not even superhero can reasonably hope to survive to so many WonderWomen making fun of him!
Bob, where's the hose, help! :o

Mairzie Dotes
05-12-2008, 08:46 AM
rose,
Pea ? Pee? My sides are hurting from laughing. You are too much.

irishrose
05-12-2008, 09:11 AM
Poor Cesare, he things we're making fun of him, no... we WANT to come to Italy... we adore you!

Yes, pee... I have a problem with an overactive bladder, so don't make me laugh anymore! OY!

Mairzie Dotes
05-12-2008, 02:33 PM
Caesar,
Ohhhhhh noooooo! I can handle anything except Bob's hose.
Where are my goulashes and slicker ?

Mairzie Dotes
05-12-2008, 02:39 PM
rose,
My bladder used to be fine until I became an Art Rage member.
Today has been exceptionally troublesome. Thank goodness
my bathroom is right down the hall.

Mairzie Dotes
05-12-2008, 02:59 PM
Dear Pop,
Am wondering what has become of Crackle? Could she
have gone to the airport without us ? :?
Yours Truely,
Snap

RobertSWade
05-12-2008, 03:55 PM
No bladder control issues here but my eyes are leaking.

Mairzie Dotes
05-12-2008, 04:02 PM
Serves you right!

Caesar
05-12-2008, 09:38 PM
This became a real Commedia dell'Arte (the old improvised Italian funny comedies with famous masks)!
Where's julie Diane gone? Maybe she's confined somewhere hopefully not because of bladder. Probably still deciding whether to have her husband in Italy too!
Fortunately Rick did not intervene so far with his wine bottles too or we would have started a Bacchanal in here (it's not a bad word as it may appear from trivial literal analysis, just the ancient hot feasts with the god Bacchus and a lot of wine should anyone be unaware of Greek Roman mythology).

irishrose
05-13-2008, 12:00 AM
Mair, you had me laughing so hard at 6 am! Good thing I had already "gotten up" to use the bathroom! Bob, that's right, you and your hose, now put that away!

Crackle, where are you? (we should be able to hear her coming!)

And Caesar, see what you miss when you're away? You need to stay up later....

So it was AR that gave me a bladder problem. Hm, will have to tell my GYN about this! Geesh. Hoses, bladders... wet t-shirts... he is NOT going to like this! LOL

Caesar
05-13-2008, 01:20 AM
I won't be home next evening so I'm gonna lose the rest.
I would lose something anyway because there's some everydays' US cultural hints and slang I wouldn't be able to fully appreciate I'm afraid! :?
Who's Crackle then, I should have missed where the definition was given!! :?:

irishrose
05-13-2008, 01:37 AM
Cesare..

Rice Krispies is probably a United States based cereal by the Kellogg Company. Their three characters to promote the cereal were Snap, Crackle, and Pop... the sounds the crisp rice cereal would make after you poured on the milk. So, Snap is now Mairzie, Crackle is JulieDiane, and I am Pop. Just because I miss my Pop. So, hopefully that will catch you up. I'm sorry the slang here has you missing out on the humor. You understand the concept of the hose, I believe? ;)

Mairzie Dotes
05-13-2008, 07:33 AM
Food group with an ATTITUDE ! . . .

WHOOHOO and look out, here we come !

irishrose
05-13-2008, 07:39 AM
Mair, THAT IS GREAT!!!! I'm going to print that one. How do you do it? Send me a pm. I'm in the dark here. Bleh. You're the bomb, girl! ;)

As to "how do you do it?" I didn't mean how do you print it, I mean where do you get these backgrounds and how do you import them? Is it hard??

RobertSWade
05-13-2008, 07:43 AM
Rose! Curb your brain! I meant firehose not your Freudian interpretation.

irishrose
05-13-2008, 07:44 AM
Bob, whatever do you mean? I have no clue to what you are talking about, this Freudian stuff?? Huh?? ;) I am explaining to Cesare what the hose would do if it were sprayed on us poor t-shirt clad women who are unsuspecting. No other thoughts came into play. :)

Lee
05-13-2008, 07:52 AM
Hey Mairzie, Nice job on the Rice Krispies mascots, they look sooooo familiar!!!!

irishrose
05-13-2008, 07:54 AM
Lee, it's us! :)

My kids used to watch (unfortunately because they are boys) the POWERPUFF GIRLS on Nickelodeon in the morning... they were Blossom, Buttercup and Bubbles... we could be those kind of superheroes too! ;)

Mairzie Dotes
05-13-2008, 09:02 AM
Pop,
Hose ? Robert ? Again ? I am wearing a tee shirt. Should I head for
the hills now or later ? LOL !

Robert,
Firehouse ? (gulp) Lots of hoses and water there. I am packing
my suitcase right now and heading for the closest, dry high terrain.
Goodby world!

Can't take this continual laughing, day after day after day. It HURTS !

Am half afraid to log into this thread anymore. I think I may have
created a monster. TIE ME DOWN ! LOL !

Pop,
Am spitting my sides laughing at you trying to explain to Caesar what
Rice Crispies are. CLASSIC and too funny!
Glad you like our group photo. We mean business, you betsha! LOL !
Only had juliediane's (aka: Crackle) small, dark avatar and had to
work on it to make it more visable. Hope she likes it.
Will p.m. you but a caution, we better both clear our bladders first.

P.S. Did you know that Robert's eye's LEAK ???

irishrose
05-13-2008, 09:06 AM
Mair,

I know what you mean... will hit the ladies room before checking out your pm. And you have NOT created a monster... just leaky eyes and bladders! ;) And firehoses, and men who don't know what Rice Krispies are (I didn't have a Spanish dictionary handy to be able to write out what the name of the cereal would be over there in Spain.

Oy, this is a good one! I hope that Julie likes her avatar too.. you are so right, we mean business and we're not gonna take it with the firehose, no way, no how... I have seen those things.. I think they are called Water Cannons.. talk about a wet t-shirt... you'd be blown into the next country! ;)

Awesome Julie... you've "peeled" his exterior and now we know him for who he really is. Hm...

Caesar
05-14-2008, 12:36 AM
Thanks funny gals! I knew of Rice Crispies, but not of the characters.
I'm also relieved to know that Bob is actually the serious wise guy here and he did not use the hose either in the freudian way or to send You three with Your wet T-Shirts on the After 9!

irishrose
05-14-2008, 01:08 AM
Cesare,

I'm glad to know that Rice Krispies made it over to Italy. I think the characters are more geared to US though. And yes, Bob is the trouble maker here, but he just made us stronger, more powerful. ready to take on the world. Yeah! ;)

RobertSWade

irishrose,
This is soooo strange, seems like we have the same
demented sense of humor, now I see you use x's
and o's. I have ALWAYS ended my emails, letters,
cards, etc. with "x/o". Also wondering if we being
both Irish might have something to do with it. My
Irish relatives always had a rather comic humor gift.

Have been busy this last couple of days but will p.m. you now
re: how I acquired Caesar's "in flight" photo from Lois Lane.

irishrose
05-16-2008, 07:04 AM
Hi Mair,

I am so glad you wrote. Yup, I have a VERY demented sense of humor and I think it was from growing up in a very dysfunctional Irish household. I have also always used xoxo all the time and still do on all my emails. We are soooo alike, how cool is that. Will go check my pm now! ;) Thanks so much!

Mairzie Dotes
05-16-2008, 08:34 AM
irishrose,
By golly, I even use Yup and Yep olla da time! Whoohoo!

Well I should just be adopting you as my sis! ;)

Mairzie Dotes
05-16-2008, 09:02 AM
rose,
Well then git yourself over here and help your sis out with this
yard work. Have already come down with Poison Ivy. I usually
get a case of the prickles in mid summer. I want to cut down a
neighbors encroaching tree with my bow saw and am now working
up the nerve to go and ask! Wish me luck! LOL !

irishrose
05-16-2008, 09:03 AM
Be right over, I'm not allergic and I don't care if someone says NO either.... bow saw it is... chop chop! ;)

Mairzie Dotes
05-16-2008, 09:29 AM
Pop,
LOL ! I already have a plan B. If my neighbor won't give me
permission to cut that problematic tree down, I will just soak
it's bad self with gasoline and set fire to it. LOL !

irishrose
05-16-2008, 09:37 AM

Mairzie Dotes
05-16-2008, 10:14 AM

Am undecided wether I should post the photo of me with bow saw
or the latest one, with mini chain saw, WHILE ON HIGH SPEED !
It's an action shot ! LOL !

irishrose
05-16-2008, 10:20 AM

Caesar
05-16-2008, 08:59 PM
Right JD! If Mairzie's neighbour doesn't know about the tree he might see much more threating to his properties to see her with a saw!

irishrose
05-16-2008, 10:19 PM
You're right JD (love your pic!)... LOL

Will conserve energy today. Guess that means lying around in luxury eating bon bons and watching my favorite soaps?? LOL

Mairzie Dotes
05-17-2008, 01:31 AM
Crackle,
THAT'S IT! Can't even make it down the hall when nature calls over
all of this laughing anymore. Just get me a bucket and I'll keep it in
my computer room, right beside me ! LOL!
Your painting is a riot! What imagination ! What humor! Love that
chain saw sitting on the fence.
Snap

Mairzie Dotes

Caesar,
You should see me with my Weed Wacker !
A powerful yet somehow alluring sight to behold!

Mairzie Dotes
05-17-2008, 01:46 AM
Hey Pop,
Have some bon bons on me. You need the rest after several days
of gut splitting laughter. Not sure why I am still standing after seeing
some of the latest entrys and replys. Crackle's latest painting hasn't
helped me calm down.
Snap

irishrose
05-17-2008, 01:49 AM
Hi Mair,

Just getting into the day, it's only 9:48 here, and one kid has a field trip, after having a migraine for two days, the whole bit... so it's been rough. I will be back soon. I know you have been keeping up with the posts, and yes, the gut splitting laughter has got me going. I will need a rest for a while. Can't wait to see a pic of you wielding that weed whacker! Oooh baby.. here she comes!
:)

Mairzie Dotes
05-17-2008, 02:07 AM
irishrose,
Same here, it's now 10 a.m. on the nose. Take it easy today.
We all need a day to recoup. once in awhile.
Yep and Yup, I can get ever so BRUTAL with that weed wacker! LOL!

irishrose
05-17-2008, 02:10 AM
Snap,

Me too, I just don't even care about the weed wacker, I just slice and dice and swipe anywhere and everywhere just to get it DONE! Esp when the heat is over 90 and the sun is shining on the back of my neck. I have often wondered if I cut the electrical cord or something what would happen to me, or cut my leg, etc. I just don't even look, I just wack! ;)

I have your email, will get back to you soon. So much going on. :) Got to finish morning coffee, bon bons next! ;)

Hugs, Pop

Mairzie Dotes
05-17-2008, 02:28 AM
Pop,
Am also "slice and dice". I sliced my foot open with the
weed wacker last summer when I was actually aiming
for my neighbor who owns the encroaching tree. Boy
could he run! LOL!

irishrose
05-17-2008, 02:52 AM
Oh man, that must have hurt. I once popped my back out when mowing too close to the edge of our lawn which slopes down to the pond. My foot slipped on the wet grass and the lawn mower started hanging over the bank. Rather than let go, I pull back and I hear a HUGE Pop (hence the name I have now! LOL) and my back was out for 2 months... lots of chiropractor work for me! I will never forget wanting to save a 400 dollar lawnmower and instead have to pay close to that or more for chiropractic sessions. OY! Yup, just call us slicers and dicers. ;)

Caesar

Dear Mairzie, independent on how sexy may Your attire be when You hold tha weed wacker, I think Your neighbour would better look for wearing some armour, in particular to reinforce all along the trousers crotch I think. Not clear which is the most threatening use You would select!

Caesar,
That is EXACTLY the spot I was aiming for.

irishrose

Touche!

Caesar
05-17-2008, 04:01 AM
Well, he avoided the other option then, Mairzie!

Your comment in french is "the cherry on the cake" (so we say), Rose!

Since we are on the ArtRage homepage I think we should start posting some other food with attitude too sooner or later ....

mince meat!

Uh oh, Mair, did you happen to slice anyone up?? Hopefully not yourself and I hope the guy with the reinforced crotch is okay! What's up??

RobertSWade

I thought I was in "Food With an Attitude" thread but I seem to have stumbled into the "Women Gone Wild With Yard Implements and Explosives" thread.

irishrose
05-17-2008, 09:20 AM
Well, we can turn a tree into food or an explosive into food... what'dya say, girls? :)

Mairzie Dotes
05-17-2008, 11:54 AM
I will have to agree with irishrose. I snacked on some Walnuts
then later had a bowl of Firehouse Chili laden with hot peppers.
One could deduce that I ate a tree and an explosive thus placing
both items in the "food group" category.

irishrose
05-17-2008, 11:55 AM
WooHoo!!!!!!

juliediane
05-17-2008, 04:25 PM

Mairzie Dotes
05-18-2008, 05:25 AM
Any official discussion group (world wide) would agree
that Jalipenio peppers are also considered EXPLOSIVES!

Good move to revive tha painting part of the thread Bob!
I just wonder why we seem to be the only two nt too scared by "gals went wild". :?
Personally in most of our country we're used to eat spicy so I like this new generation of "Spice Girls"!
I'm pretty sure that other ones of the "Old Guard" in here like Damaso would be amused as wellrather than scared should they be able to follow enough the pace and all the jokes (Rick seems the only one expressely retiring in his vineyards), but were are the boy Artragers? :?:

irishrose
05-19-2008, 01:14 AM
Oh, my gosh, I just read this, having gone to bed early (don't take that and run in any direction either), and thank goodness I have my Depends on (just kidding LOL)

JD ... awesome remarks.

Mair ... BUCKET BRIGADE! HAHA!!!

Robert... oy, sour cream?? Uh... won't go there...

Caesar... yes, Rick is retired now and drinking his wine... I think he isn't going to touch this thread with a 10 ft. pole (do not mean ANYTHING BY THAT!)

Turnips are horrible. Remember that girls!

We are spicy... comeon, scaredy boys, come get us! LOL
