Hey, anybody got a tutorial or any tips on how to paint or draw (either or both) calm water with a reflection?

you could type the keyword "how to use water color" in google search box and then you can find some pages interesting involving reflection of water( sorry I'm a new member so not allowed to post a link here)
I hope this will be useful for you, I tried it and my picture worked well. However it is still a little simple, it would be better if there had some more complex tutorials.

here you are.....start with base in oil...

then draw lines with pencil ....precise on and size 1%

then GENTLY tease the marks across the page with the knife on the settings shown in the screenshot.....hope this helps and I'll try to follow up with calm water

here is a quick tut on how I do calmer water with reflections..........I ve left some for you to spread across the page yourself with the knife on the settings shown.............bottom left corner.......the white glitter spots.....have a try .....keep your knife strokes horizontal though or it gets messy.......still we've always got the undo feature eh? Good luck!
