Some images from yesterday and today. :)

And dang, if I still tilt my verticals a bit. I think it's because I tend to draw to the right for some reason. Hmm.

yea-more fun from Bearblue-love the colours or today-so vibrant-but my favourite is how you do the light like the shine on the teapots side-its terrific i hadnt realised how well light could be rendered in your relaxed way i alway imagined you had to do super detailed micro precise work to do it but no...your just *super* <sigh> and relaxedly do it with ease- now i shall have to go practice-i always used my relaxed style as a reason for no light render but boy did you prove that wrong :D

The reflections - particularly on 061306a.jpg - are fantastic.

Wonderful stuff. It seems like such a free style. I liked the textures and the way you've done the reflections a lot.

Oh yay! I love visiting the forums and finding a new post from you. Your comment on the first piece had me laughing out loud. But you haven't listed your livejournal url in your profile, you mustn't tease us like that! =) I really like the "fuzzy" nature of that first piece, by the way; it just fits. So, what's next, an O'Keeffe? =]

My favourite, today, is the teapot. Not because of the reflective surface, mind you, because I can't really see that too well on my monitor (new one arrives this week - woo hoo!). No, the teapot is my favourite because... well, because it looks like a li'l elephant. Well, a li'l elephant head, anyway. Wearing one of those little kid caps with a cotton poof on top (http://www.nancysquiltshop.com/images/childshat.jpg). And that's just really cute.

Thanks for the smile!

These are great. I like the "color texture" on the peaches - very well done.

Wow! Thank you every one.

Selby, I know what you mean about the reflections. This is why I've been studying them, because I knew I needed to. :)

Anyhow, since I've sparked curiousity I'll post the bell pepper. Just remember, I warned you. I'll post the lj link sometime later when I'm more confident. ;)

Also, I'll go ahead and post the fish I doodled while talking to my sister on the phone yesterday. I did that one in artrage 1, because I was in such a hurry I wasn't watching my point and click. ;)

Well, I love the fish, and the bell pepper looks like a bell pepper. I wonder what it would have looked like had I not known it was a bell pepper? I suspect it would have still looked like one. But then, I might just be hopeless; even this bell pepper (http://www.edward-weston.com/) looks just like what it is to me. =)

Gita - I absolutely read you on this. My first thought is "bell pepper," when I know what it is. It took me a moment to see it another way. But I do understand how food/veggies/flowers can be read from a completely sensual viewpoint too.

And thank you Enchanter. I'm glad I found the forum. It's been a blast to post here. And the tips and wisdom of others have been so helpful.

bearblue- you are a treasure trove for the eyes. I've been busy of late an missed a bunch of stuff. What a treat for me to relax and go through all these posts and see this new art from you. I love the peaches. The metal is delicate and the light is exquisite. Fruits and veggies can indeed be very sensual subjects. I have found this true if trees as well.
