15min passes sooo quickly! (I too may have been just a tad over the 15min!)
Some tips for others thinking of having a go:
If you have any pre-saved Canvas setups, choose which you want to use and have it loaded.
Know exactly what you are going to paint!
Know which Tools and Presets you are going to need and have them ready. This is made easier if you have quite a collection of previously saved Toolboxes from past projects to choose from.
And most importantly HAVE FUN!
And thank you DarkOwnt for setting us all this little New Year challenge!

That’s so well drawn and painted. Great!
I have some Serrano chilies in my fridge right now! Yum!

I think we should distinguish between "What can you paint" and "What did you paint"... in 15 minutes.
I have something which I did paint in 15 minutes... is it representative of what "can" I paint in 15 minutes? Not sure... all I know is 15 minutes is VERY short.
Maybe we should revive the old "what can you paint in 30 minutes?" thread...
Ah, great to see your submission DarkOwnt, nice one
I think you and Brett were both much more ambitious than me for the amount of detail you both tried to capture in your subjects! Good for you
And yes those 15min do pass very quickly!
I just went for a single, generic shape with sloppy watercolours and no reference to worry about! But I was still 1.5 over the 15!
Doing this little challenge felt very much the same as doing a timed life drawing pose, where a 15 or 10min time limit is quite common.
I do hope some others will have a go at this and post their results.
But I would encourage everyone to have a go at this, even if they don’t post here, as this is a good exercise anyway which helps you focus on what are the important elements of a subject which you need to keep and what you can edit out without loosing the meaning of said subject.

You make a good point about how this is a good exercise.
Perhaps doing this again and again will help hone our skills seeing and capturing the essence of a scene.
I think I might just have to do this again.... a few times.
