    Hi Alex,

Stunning attention to detail. Everyone must be very pleased. 4 weeks is true dedication to one's craft. Well done!

I must say I'm a little reluctant to criticize such a brilliant work, but since this is the Critique section I assume you would like comments.

So much is really fantastic. The jacket is especially outstanding. However, this is a portrait and the most important thing is the face. I'm sure it looks very much like him, so that's very good. I would however brighten his eyes a bit. It probably looks exactly like the photo, but they're a bit dull. I would brighten the whites some and the reflections a little. You would have to experiment to know how much is the right amount. But the eyes are a very important feature in portraits. Photo retouchers are always fixing the exposure of the eyes so that they stand out more and seem more lifelike. And that tells how important that feature is.

It's easy enough to make a new layer and try coming in with some extra contrast.

But it really is a wonderful painting.
