Holy crap! That's the best idea for a background I've ever seen.

    You, madam, are a genius.

I'm gonna go make one of those now.

Loved the first one shown, so downloaded the PSD format, but it only opened with the base image showing in my low-end version of Photoshop. And in the other programs I tried. But it worked in Artweaver with the layers merged. Rescaled and made a small change and it is on my desktop.

Thanks so much, though it does not look quite the same without your beautiful painting of Grapes and pears!

This is your version rescaled to 1024 by 768 pixels in Jpeg format for anyone who can't use your PSD one.

hinket, Sorry to hear you had trouble with my photoshop file. But it looks like you overcame the issue admirably.

Adam, Thanks for your comments. Glad I could inspire you.

Hi Erica - You did a great job on the desktop organizer. I tried to make some that I could use with the MSVDM (Microsoft Virtual Desktop Monitor I think) which kind of allows you to have four different desktops, or show all four at once. I wanted to have a seperate desk top for each category of program, like creativity, communications, etc but I couldn't get it to work that way. Oh well. In my version I had a tough time lining up the borders so that the icons would fit into the different boxes neatly.
