A Mystery

I have no idea what this is, it started as a doodle and ended up where it did! It's way outside my comfort zone. I think bits of it work and not others. Comments gratefully received.

In this case, I think your comfort zone needs to grow to meet the painting, rather than the opposite. This painting impresses on many levels. It is well composed, dynamic, and the textures are great. Love the colors.

They look alien to me. Like something someone left behind when they left in a hurry. Maybe we should have a short story competition with the picture as the prompt!
