I can see and appreciate this new acrobatic balancing excercise.
I presume that any color has its own specific weight depending also on its tonal value, but what about the dark frame? I presume it has to have its own independent balance.

Very interesting exercise Doc.
Red and green seems like a bit crumpled velina placed above yellow. The whole painting is very pleasant to see

Doc...very nice.. I like the subtle textures and brushwork to give character the the areas of color... nicely balanced.
