Pressure and stroke bristle/knife regularity

Hey guys,
I do not believe this is already occurring - there should be a brush/palette knife setting that controls the regularity that the bristles or knife come into contact with the canvas. A good example of this would be the real life oil painting technique I see for applying snow to a mountain peak using very light pressure on a palette knife that produces an irregular application of paint with gaps showing through to the mountain in some spots. Does this seem like a good idea?

Good idea. Would be great if you can customize it or generate random stroke tips.
