I'm most fascinated by the works of genius pulp illustrators of the fifties and sixties, like Robert McGinnis and Bob peak. Artists whose painterly noir-age aesthetic I think isn't seen enough in the work of more contemporary artists.

Thank you, sir. There's a lot of stuff I'd like to delve into (retro comics, polish posters, pulp, heroic symbolism and maybe sachplakat), but I have a long way to go.

Thanks! That was a bit of a happy accident. The background was initially kind of blue-green. I inadvertently sampled some of it when I was building her up. Then when I changed the background color, boom.
