    I love this last one especially. You nailed it. . . got the expression and its nice and polished feeling. Would make a great cameo. Feels passionate and romantic.

    Ladies have classically been associated with curves (guys tend to be represented in a more angular way by similar logic), thus using curves and angles in our work in coming up with poses is both classical and it just plain works. Naturally it's not always done that way, but it's a device that can give an impression. What it does is it gives us a good starting point when we're creating something from scratch. And when you're selecting work to copy, it's a good idea to look for that kind of thing that the original artist did, and if they did or did not, and what you think about that. It's part of the artist's visual vocabulary.
