Ach, lad, I forgoot ta mention that yer paintin' of JFK via Rockwell was smashin' - a real leap forward, oh aye. I think it shows that all your sketchin' has been paying off. You're looking at the model well and you're considerin' soome o' tha moore subtle aspects of the 'ead what make it read.

As to Rockwell tracin' his images, it's because he was a professional. I assure you, he could have drawn everything the old fashioned way. It's merely more expedient to get it done. Allocated 'is time like so as he could focus on the story he was tellin'.

Ploos, Mr Ploos, just because someone projects, do not mean he did no project his own drawings rather than merely a cold photo right out of the darkroom.

The projector was a tool for 'im just like back to the Renaissance where they had the same disagreement about it bein' a grand cheat. They have records of rivalries among artists back then when they said using the grid was no bein' a true artist.

And imagine bein' the bloke what was sittin' in a tent with all the tend flaps down, and seein' the landscape outside projected on one inside wall of the tent through a small hole on the opposite side. So when he went and grabbed 'is paints, it weren't no cheat. It was a proper discovery what he was usin'. I believe it was very popular among the Flemmish with all their detailed little landscapes, aroond the Seventeenth century (tho me dates could be a little off).

Any hue, the best way ta learn is to do it freehand tho, as ya do. Keeps your voice crisp and clear as opposed to being more of a copy what ye see. Boot those of us who were intent on painting bodies and heads and so on all did it. And those what didn't were either in no hurry or they were doing stylized paintings for the looser Artistic look.

And I love how your voice comes through your Art. It's the most important, I feel.

I like very much Your latest experiments, dear ATPus!

I was certainly better for Italy the match with England where they seriously risked to win than with Wales. Anyway, sooner or later, I hope we'll have more than a limited bunch of people paying rugby, so as to have some more satisfaction ...
