This is my newest landscape painting.
Belgium ardennen !
I had A LOT of work on it and think this is the best painting I made until now.
I am not a 100% pleased how the bushes turned out in the middle.
That is the next challenge!

Beautiful work, The hills and mountains of the Ardennes are a great subject for painting.

Wow, you can see by the detail in the painting that it must have took ages to paint that. The different layers give it tons of depth :D

Johan- Well done. I'm not sure which bushes you are talking about the green in the middle ground is my guess, I would say that if anything you might be responding to them having more darks than you have in the foreground. This tends to pop them forward toward the viewer. You might try putting a little more contrast into the foreground. That's all I have for you on that. This is a very good image.

Hypnomedi: A beautiful piece. A lot of love went into this one. Not sure what you mean when you say you aren't happy with the bushes in the middle?
As they are darker, they add a nice sense of depth to the painting. I like this image a lot... :D

Yes that are the one I talking about.
I missing some sort of dept fielt in it.
Now it looks more flatten and not real.
