Amazing detail. Looks fantastic close up with all that detail. I really like seeing all the details in the close up. Too bad they get lost when viewing the smaller version. The finished portrait is great, but
would be amazing to see it in the large print size in a gallery.
First observance no one would know how much detail you actually put into your piece. Thanks for that close up view. It could stand alone as a painting.
It is wonderful.

Those are very well done... your figure work is fantastic and the proportions look amazing with using a model. Good job.
I just filed away your dog's eye for reference on painting skill.
It still amazes me.

Squinting at this latest life painting tells me that you're getting really close with the tones here. Gives it good volume. Nice work.

Thanks allot gzairborne! I would make a tutorial for that one, but I must admit that I can't really remember how I actually did it, it just 'came out'..
I think I'll try and do one in the next couple of days...

This is a wonderful work in progress. The bird is so real in gesture and pose and the figure is amazing. This already is so beautiful.

Dear gg+gi+gn+ge+gm+ig+ii+in+ie+im+ng+ni+ne+nm+eg+ei+en +em+mg+mi+mn+me+mm , (heh, I like that)

I was looking a little longer at the last two, and I would draw your attention to the girl's face and the color of the shadow. You could get away with it if it were less the color of hair or dirt. The reason it doesn't read as much like a shadow as it might is because the saturation is high and like the hair a bit. You have such gorgeous silvery flesh tones on her arm, I would suggest mixing a bit of white (and gray?) into it so it looks more like flesh. I don't think we would miss the cast shadow from the bird if you eliminated it or knocked it way down.

Again, terrific WIP painting.
