Man, that was an INTENSE week.
MacWorld was a lot of fun. We always had crowds of people around the ArtRage booth as we were showing off ArtRage 2.
We were photographed, interviewed, PodCasted, Blogged, and generally examined from every angle.
The ModBook was announced, and they showed off ArtRage on it.
Another company had a big wall-sized touch-screen demonstrating their technology with ArtRage 2. It was quite a buzz to be in all the important places.
I'm back on the ground, all fired up and focussed on the next release of Artrage.
Thank-you everyone who stopped by the ArtRage booth and kept the energy levels soaring in the stratosphere!

Was going to ask how it went.
Glad to hear that you're getting the interest you deserve.
Now back to work!!!!
They're going to be watching for you next year and you will have to wow them all the more with brush tips and paint rags and all the other groovy things I'm suspecting you're gonna have.
:D :D :D

Hi Andy
Great to hear the event went well.
As I'm interested in buying a tablet within a few weeks, I would like to hear how you think the the modbook behaved with Artrage etc. Was it rocking?
I have my eyes on the LenovoX60Tablet at the moment, but the modbook looks interesting enough. Not sure though if it's interesting enough for me to wait half a year for it to be released...

...
I can't really comment on that - I barely had a chance to look at the ModBook myself.

As I find them, I'll post some of the interviews, comments, and mentions we got from important people at the MacWorld Expo.
Video interview with our artist:

Okay, so he spelled my name incorrectly... And I can't believe I sound like that... But it was a good interview anyway.
And here's a small mention in a small newspaper:

More as I find 'em.

A mistake was made recording the interview. If you notice, both Andy and the interviewer are talking fast.
I took the mp3 file and loaded it in Cubase SX. The mp3 was recorded at 22050kHz. I strongly suspect that the mp3 was then converted to to the standard cd sample rate of 44100 kHz. Doing so would result in the speeding up of the recording. Andy doesn't really have a Munchkin voice, he just plays one on mp3 interviews! :-)

DOH! My apologies. I misplaced your business card and took a stab at it. :(
Tell me the correct spelling and I'll fix it ASAP.
And I can't believe I sound like that...
LOL We all hate the sound of our own voices. :)
But it was a good interview anyway.
Thanks! It was an easy one to do. ArtRage is a *great* product and has won our award for the Best of Macworld Expo.

An award! Yay! :happydance: ArtRage deserves all the accolades it gets. That is so awesome.
Congrats, TeamRage, on ArtRage's moments in the spotlight; may there be many, many more. Perhaps next year I'll get to meet you lot. =)
Oh, and welcome home. Hope you're not terribly jet-lagged, it's a loooong journey. =]

Woohoo, another good mention in an important magazine:
http://www.macworld.com/news/2007/01/17/expowrap/index.php
As well as a very cool paragraph on ArtRage in the software section, note also that everywhere you see a picture of the new ModBook there's a large shiny ArtRage 2.2 button in the Dock!
We are everywhere! Hehe.

Brilliant!
You're as great as we all thought you were!
Congratulations !!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Fast Andy" gave a great interview. I kept saying to myself, "Yes, that's what makes it Artrage, that's what makes it the best!"
I've just put my coffee back on the free "Painter" disk!

(Ingie, the difference between New Zealand and Australian accents is defined by the number 6. In NZ it's the sum of 3 and 3. in OZ it's procreation. )

Hi Selby and Graham,
Whenever this type of discussion starts it's worth pointing out that after many years you both speak in a similar way, despite being thousands of miles apart. Comparatively isolated for a long while too. So presumably you still actually speak with a traditional English accent and we don't.
I suspect that TV and Movies/Flicks/Films are now ironing out the differences.
Coming back to the point, New Zealandese is a great language for speaking quickly. Umpteen facts per second about ArtRage and still totally clear. Well done "Fast Andy"!
