Delete painting

Newbee question, how does one delete the current painting?

Is it a saved painting, or do you mean the active painting (which would return onscreen, whenever you reopen the App)? I usually just start a new painting, so that the next time I open the App, there will be a blank canvas waiting to be used.

On the ipad, you have to return to the gallery to delete a painting. There is a little trashcan icon on the right next to the other icons on the bottom.

Back to the gallery to start a new painting is what I needed
