hi there...:). sharing my recently painted landscape, "Nature - Trail", painted in artrage - tablet. its done in a pure impressionistic manner, with brushwork that is all visible,
unblended and casual. I really enjoyed working on this, kept it all painterly, just as a traditional work.
Viewing it from a distance of about 4 to 5 ft. would be cool.

thanks for droping by...happy viewing...:).

Hi Waheed,

Very nice. I am wondering where you drew your inspiration for this painting. Is it from a picture or from the local flora and fauna of Pakistan? I can imagine places near where I live that look like this scene.

I have the same feeling, ........just like I've been there...weird.
I even started talking with dots!
Very effective painting!

Waheed- this is beautiful. Do you have such places in Pakistan? It reminds me of hiking along the top of Powel butte in SE portland.

Dazzling.. I even like this better than your still lifes -- which I love.

The space feels crisp and vitalizing. Your strokes all work very well.

Fantastic use of color. Marvelous harmony. The color is pushed and makes everything feel much more than it looks in real life. And it's so inviting.

Very beautiful success one every level.

Congratulations.

thanks a lot bcmillustrator, hanzz, Fashmir and D Akey, for all the admiration...:).

inspiration for this came from a few, village scene images, that i was going thru at work...they were only seen before i painted this at home. what u see here is my own composition that i visualized myself. yes, there are places like this in pakistan (aswell), very beautiful and stunning areas, esp. if u go to the central and nothern parts. so i gave this a local (pakistani) touch, that im familiar with...:).

im glad u like this...thank u once again all of u.

good day.

I think you can make more variety of color on the tree if you want to make a pure impressionistic work.It is more than green

Waheed... you do have a great mastery in the art of using light... In all of your pictures.... to anyone who doesnt look properly, this might look like just another painting... but if you just half close your eyes... then you see more clearly.........hope I make sense here people... just believe me and try it......Great work Nasir....Jack.

I'm not sure how I missed this when it was posted. This is excellent, Waheed. As someone else already mentioned - I like this at least as much as your still lifes.

I hope you do more of these.
