I may wash in some color later. Wanted to try something in B&W. So far I've used about eleventy-seven rulers.

The start announces another masterpiece, dear Bob! I like particularly the warm dark colours of the US agricultural States barns against the surrounding nature tints! I thank You in advance! :D :D :D

The ground is perfect for the way this is handled.
I see it as being a division of the canvas into sections with their relative attributes. It's about patterns and shapes and relationships. Quite nice. The B&W really brings that quality forward.

how about a smaller version of a weather vane with a rooster or fin? You are right it draws attention away at this point.
